Bears for the Blue Ridge
"Blue Eyed Bear"
8x8 Framed
My Bear Story:
I started painting black bears studies for a commission for some dear mountain friends. And then I just kept painting them...and my husband said "what are you going to do with all these bears?" My reply - 'I just don't know yet."
Well Sunday morning (9/29/24) at 4:04am - God and I were chatting. He said "Bears for Boone" and I said why not but let's do "Bears for the Blue Ridge"! Thanks to YOU - 12 bears found homes and WE RAISED OVER $3000 for Hurricane Helene relief! Donations went to WCKitchen, Samaritan's Purse, BeLoved Asheville, and Build for Good Foundation.
So I'm still painting bears if you need one! What is available is on this site. Still doing bear commissions too!
Barns & Structures
"January Barn"
40 x 50 Oil - SOLD
So glad I painted this one when I did. It no longer stands in Boone, NC - progress and growth. But now a friend has it in her home. Maybe that's the continuing life cycle of a barn now. Preserved in time.
